In recent times, there is a growing interest in business ethics and spirituality. In this research is questioned whether those two concepts might have an influence on each other. Building on research of spirituality and business ethics, where it is suggested that spirituality might influence ethics in a positive manner, in this research is found that this indeed is the case. Furthermore, it is proven in this research that this connection is mediated by mindfulness, connectedness and compassion. These results contribute to a new paradigm of spirituality in the business environment and it provides the unique insight how mindfulness, connectedness and compassion play a mediating role. Additionally the results have important implications for companies to improve the morality among their employees.
